today i added an article to my blog addressing a frank admission made under oath by a member of watchtowers service department staff regarding sexual molesters among jehovahs witnesses.

this statement is part of a deposition dated february 15, 2012. .

All you need to do is show (use evidential facts) a study what the church policies are and that would do the trick.

if possible it would be great to send a copy of the new "shepherding" book and the recent confidentiality letter to contacts in the media.

the society will try to paint this as an isolated case and that it is in no way related to their policies.

the documents mentioned above show that this is not the case.. what is next?

i was raised in a city hall.

it was pretty evenly split.

i wasn't raised in a blacks vs. whites environment.

Not so much racial discrimination (not many nationalities here) but I experienced financial, gender, class and status prejudice.

The majority of witlesses I’ve ever known have been the most bigoted people I've ever met.

i think the organization will harp on the idea that the news media is a product of satan the devil and should never be trusted especially if the news is in any way negative of jehovah's witnesses.. with all the negative (truthful) press that will come out over this latest mult-million dollar judgment against the watchtower society, i think they will "demonize" the press more than they ever have.. what do you think?

I'm going to use this reasoning with my Mom:

If she tries to take the $ocieties side (and I know she will) and say the media is lying or twisting it I'll ask her, "Well if that's the case are they lying about the Catholics, Mormons, Scientologists and other religions too?"

There just isn’t any explaining your way outta this conundrum, and that’s the point! It doesn't matter how she answers, yes or no will be problematic.

If she says no I'll then go into that maybe the other religions aren't as bad as we thought since the only thing we know about them comes from mass media and the $ociety, and the $ocietie’s getting their information from the same places the media is (RED FLAG!).

If she says yes I'll just reply, "Well that's a bit hypocritical don't cha think? I mean what incentive do they have to lie about only us and no one else? OK, so maybe Satan is controlling the media, but don't you think it's our individual responsibility to go and research what they're sayin' about us to see if it's true or false? If this is a public case and records can be checked but the $ociety tells us not to look beyond what they're telling us then doesn't that raise doubt in your mind? It does for me and I'd rather know the facts so I can be certain that I’m following the truth." (Uh-oh this might shut her brain down.)

it took me a long time to write this....i'm being brutally honest...i am still a reg pioneer...three sundays ago,i was praying and asking god for a sign or something because i was so confused...i told him exactly what i needed to see for me to believe.i was feeling terrible--crying and feeling sick because i was so confused.ten minutes after, i walked into the kingdom hall and to my surprise--my prayer was answered!

i soooo wasn't expecting it, even though i prayed.

so this is where almighty god wants me to be,ii've reasoned.

Watch out for increased disfellowshippings in light of sex abuse ruling.

this latest ruling could end up being double edged sword.. if the "society" does indeed make an "adjustment" in how they handle a brother or sister's complaints of abuse by abandoning the "two witness rule" then it could be an easy transition into df'ing more people due to their not being a requirement of having "two witnesses" to any event of badness on the part of congregation members.. with that "adjustment" anyone could just make up stuff from now on and have jc meeting to lower the boom.

no more would 2 witnesses be needed.. i'm sure they would use this "clarification in understanding" to their benefit as they do with everything else they implement.. they have been trying to thin the herd with getting rid of those harboring doubts for some time.

this could just make it easier.. just a thought..

just how ridiculous has this religion become.they are continually updating and changing their letters to the boe instructing them to destroy previous letters,which could be used against them in a legal tussle,their rules and regulations would by far exceed the yoke the pharrissees and saduccees put upon the people,and they have a legal dept.that the jews never had to try to get them out of trouble.how can anybody in their right mind belong to such a devious,manipulative,self serving excuse for a religion as this,is beyond me.. smiddy.
